Vlasta Pechová participated in the production of two books on Tai Chi. One is her own book in Czech language, which she wrote and illustrated. The second highly technical book on Tai Chi was written by her teacher Robert Amacker and Vlasta has enriched it with numerous illustrations.

“The Teoretical Basis Of T’ai Chi Ch’uan”

His previous translation of the classic Taiji texts “The Essence of T’ai Chi Ch’uan” (with Benjamin Lo, Martin Inn and Suzan Foe) is now considered a classic. In his book “The Theoretical Basis Of T’ai Chi Ch’uan” Robert Amacker describes the fundamental and definitive skill of the art of T’ai Chi Ch’uan, the so-called civil aspect, in a way that has never been attempted before.
The book contains around 200 black and white hand-drawn illustrations by Vlasta Pechova. The book was first published in English in Moscow by the publishing house “Synergia transfiguration art studio” in a limited number of 100 copies. Another English edition of this book is available as e-book on Amazon.
